What I'm Loving Wednesday

I’m loving that I convinced my sister to see Hunger Games with me this weekend. Obsessed much? Yup!

I’m loving that I finally did Facetime with my sister and nephew yesterday! Oh my goodness, so much fun! I’ve been missing out. And my nephew was smiling ear to ear when he saw me. Made me so happy.

I’m loving this outfit! There is something about this mix that is just so perfect.

I’m loving that I am attending a wedding this weekend at our wedding reception site. I cannot wait! I’ve always wanted to attend a wedding at our reception site as a guest. Now I get my wish! Hmm, now I’m missing our wedding day. Some pictures to help me stop missing :)

I’m {not} loving the fact that I had to bust out my winter coat and boots this week AND that I want to pull my nose off. Darn allergies!

What are you loving?

Happy Birthday Priscilla ♥

I have this sister who is absolutely incredible. She is the best listener, the least judgmental and the funniest person I know. Even funnier than Sean. She makes the best faces. The best.

And even though she is younger than I am she is always calling or texting to check up on me like a mama deer.

And she is always thinking about everyone else. If you looked up generous in the dictionary her picture would appear.

She also made the most beautiful baby boy who is an absolute joy to everyone around him. I can already see all the amazing traits of my sister in him.

Happy Birthday to my dear sister. I am so blessed to have you in my life. So blessed that we share the same blood. I look forward to sharing many more years with you.

Oh, and don't you worry. Zach will have a playmate soon. Promise.

...My Weekend...

On Friday,

we started the weekend right with shopping for new running shoes. We ended up with the same sneakers, just different colors. We tend to do this often.

Then I got rear-ended. Not fun. But no one was hurt and our car is fine too. Just a little touch-up is needed. All I was thinking was, I hope I make it in time to the theatre to get good seats for Hunger Games. We did.

Since I am trying color on my lips, I tried this red and really liked it. I bought another color and boy was it ever horrible. She said she was red {and by she, I mean the label} but looked orange on me, not a good look at.all. I should have taken pictures that way you could laugh.

{What do you think?}

I wore the dress I bought online at Forever 21 a few weeks ago. It is a perfect Summer dress. Very light. But I must tell you that it is a bit see-through so I wore booty shorts underneath and it was fine.

But do know that when the wind blows so does the dress. You either can look like Marilyn Monroe or just a tacky woman who is showing her underwear to everyone. I am still going to be wearing this dress all summer. Sean has been telling me lately that I have been shopping for clothes that resemble a grandmother's wardrobe. He is the King of exaggeration. But he thought I looked hot so I'll wear this dress until it gives up.

The rest of my weekend has been spent making dinners, baking brownie cookies that were delish, doing laundry and dishes and playing with the furbabies. The weather is now deciding that it wants to be March so no playing in the sun today. I should probably clean the kitchen but I've gotten myself into enjoying Burn Notice and now it just doesn't seem that important. There's always tomorrow.

Oh and you are probably wondering what I thought about Hunger Games. I loved it! I am a tough critic and I loved it. Yes, there were a few things different from the book and some characters eliminated but I expected that. I mean, how can you not expect that when the movie is trying to get it all in with just two hours? Sean did not read the books {and tells me he won't} but he enjoyed it too.

That Katniss {what is her name in real life? yeah, I could google but I want to do this quickly since Burn Notice is waiting} is one hell of an actress. LOVE her! And to be honest, I think all of the characters were casted perfectly. And I cried during the Rue part. Sean laughed and no one shushed him.

They should have. He was such a jerk to laugh. I am sure it was at me and not about what was happening on the screen, but still.

Now I am just impatiently waiting for the 2nd one. Please hurry up!

Hope you all had lovely weekends.

XOXOXO

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I’m loving that Hunger Games comes out on Friday! On my lunch break, I called Sean to purchase our tickets. I refuse to be the person that doesn’t see it on Friday. REFUSE! Also, I think the little girl who plays Rue is so adorable!

I’m loving that I keep all my favorite sayings from the Dove wrapper in my desk at work. When I feel like I want to scream they are nice reminders :)

I’m loving Skittles new flavors.

I’m loving this outfit! It is making me crave hot pink Hunters.

I’m loving that we are BBQing tonight for dinner!

I’m loving that I have all the windows open at our house right now. There is nothing better than fresh air.

What are you loving?

....My Weekend....

{Friday Night}

We went bowling with our friends. It was a fun time and reminded me that I have to bowl more often. I suck at it.

{I decided to try a bright pink lipstick and I was surprised to like it. I think it is time I start trying some color on my lips}

We started at one bowling alley but we left after one game as it was pretty dead. We decided we wanted a lively Rock N Bowl instead.

{He is so good that it kinda pisses me off!}

{At the 2nd bowling alley}

{Telling Sean to shut it after I got another gutter}

{He makes the best faces!}

{Sweetest couple}

{So into it}

{At one point, three of us had the same score. It quickly changed to me having the lowest score}

{Not sure}

{Finally got a strike!}

{Saturday}

I went shopping for a few things. I needed to find a necklace for a dress that I'm wearing to a wedding in two weeks. I found the perfect piece and imagine my surprise when it rang $4.93 instead of $30.00!

When I got home I hung out with Sean, Izabella and Fella. It was the first time in 5 years that I didn't do anything for St. Paddy's Day. Since Sean was working I wasn't feeling up to it and I actually liked it. I still made sure to wear green just in case a moron person decided that it would be a good idea to pinch me.

I ate my favorite ice cream all weekend {just finished tonight, hehe}. It took all of my self control not to eat it all on Saturday :)

{I didn't feel too bad as hubby made me the biggest salad ever this weekend!}

{Sunday}

Church, relaxation, cleaning, laundry. I saw Something Borrowed and I just loved it. I think I am going to watch it again tonight. It was the nicest end to the weekend.

And now it's Monday. I just want it to be Friday.

Oh and Wednesday and Thursday is going to be in the 80s in my neck of the woods. As nice as it is to have this amazing weather, I am getting a little nervous. How in the world is our summer going to be? I can't deal with 100+ degree weather. To be honest, I don't even really care for 75+ degrees. And NY ha
s the worst humidity, ugh, ugh, ugh! Saying some prayers to my Lord tonight :)
